90-Year-Old Woman Declines Chemotherapy, Chooses To Spend Her Final Days Traveling With Her Dog

At 90 years old, Norma was diagnosed with uterine cancer and given a bleak prognosis.

Instead of being confined to a hospital for intensive chemotherapy treatment, she chose to live the rest of her life to the fullest and travel the country with her family and dog in their motorhome.

Her Facebook page includes her doctor’s response to her decision, he said, “As doctors, we see what cancer treatment looks like every day. ICU, nursing homes, awful side effects… You are doing exactly what I would want to do in this situation. Have a fantastic trip!”

With her Poodle, Ringo, as her copilot, Norma and her family hit the road for one final adventure.

Her decision and sense of adventure has caught the nation's attention.

And see some wonderful moments from her travels:

Look what is blooming! We are told this is quite early for the beautiful azaleas to bloom.
