Pioneer Valley Kennel Club (PVKC) of Massachusetts recently arranged a series of monthly television segments on their local TV station WWLP Channel 22. The club’s first segment promoted Responsible Dog Ownership Month.
You can view the segment here.
Tibby Chase, a dog trainer and AKC Obedience and Rally Judge from the club, demonstrated some of the elements of the Canine Good Citizen program.
PVKC is scheduled to appear on three more segments, focusing on youth handlers in salute to 4-H month in October, providing tips for purchasing a puppy in November and baking dog treats and gifts for the dog enthusiast in December. The club is also working with studio producers to identify future segments.
Club member Kim Reardon said, “The Pioneer Valley Kennel Club has taken on a huge task of designing and delivering content that is relevant, and at the same time entertaining to a viewing audience. This is a tremendous opportunity for the club.”
Great job, PVKC members for creating a partnership with local producers and coming up with creative segments to present your position on dog ownership and dog issues!
