The American Kennel Club and the New Jersey Federation of Dog Clubs (NJFDC) were honored to have presented New Jersey State Assemblyman David Russo with the “AKC Legislator of the Year” award at the State House in Trenton, NJ last week.
Assemblyman Russo has earned this distinction for his strong advocacy of responsible dog ownership and the rights of dog owners.
Jeffrey Ball, President of the NJFDC said, “He has supported many local initiatives while working with the New Jersey Federation of Dog Clubs to improve the lives of both pets and their owners. We are proud to honor him and grateful for his leadership in the New Jersey legislature.”
