AKC Responsible Dog Ownership Day in Raleigh, North Carolina
AKC's Responsible Dog Ownership Day in Raleigh was held on Saturday, September 10. A variety of activities were planned for the afternoon. Activities included AKC Canine Good Citizen testing, AKC Companion Animal Recovery microchipping, coloring for the kids, City of Raleigh Police K-9 demonstrations, AKC Meet the Breeds booth, raffles, ILP evaluations, Agility demonstrations, Obedience demonstrations, Rally demonstrations and much more.
The weather during the day was perfect and a variety of breeds showed up. Donations were taken for the AKC/CAR Canine Support & Relief Fund for Hurricane Katrina.
