- From the July 2007 Board Meeting - The Spanish Water Dog was approved to compete in AKC Herding Events for suffix titles effective January 1, 2008.
- From the May 2007 Board Meeting - The Spanish Water Dog will be eligible to compete in Companion Events effective January 1, 2008.
- From the October 2005 Board Meeting - Two new breeds were added to the Foundation Stock Service Program - the Russell Terrier and Spanish Water Dog.
